NEXT PLAY DAY – MONDAY, JULY 6 AT ARDEA SOUTH CC Talk about great course conditions! Despite the recent lack of rain, Ardea South Country Club is in outstanding shape from tee to green. The layout provides a fun and challenging test of golf, featuring several demanding tee shots and excellent green complexes. We currently have tee times available from 8:00–8:45 AM and 10:00–11:00 AM, as the remaining times are already full. Don't miss your chance to join us at one of the area's premier courses. JUNE 22 BLACK DIAMOND QUARRY EVENT A BIG HIT – REGISTER NOW FOR THE PARADISE GOLF TRIPLE CROWN OF GOLF
Please join me in giving a shoutout to the Paradise Golf event management team — Luke Rhodes, Sue Prasad, and Duncan Brookshire — for putting on another outstanding event at the spectacular Black Diamond Quarry Course. It's a course that never gets old, featuring some of the most photographed holes in all of Florida. Those Quarry holes are truly something special!
We had 25 groups participate, just as we did at last week's Copperhead event. Despite the dry conditions and the transition from winter rye overseeding, the course was in excellent shape. The greens rolled true, and the pace of play was exceptional, with the entire field finishing in under 4½ hours.
We're excited to return to Black Diamond the weekend of August 7–9 for the Paradise Golf Triple Crown of Golf, where members will play their own ball throughout the event. Triple Crown Schedule

COPPERHEAD PLAY DAY A BIG HIT! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the June 16 Copperhead Play Day! With 25 groups participating, the event was a tremendous success. Members praised the course conditions, especially the greens, and most groups completed their rounds in just over four hours.
Our next Copperhead Play Day is scheduled for Friday, August 21. We hope to see you there!
SILVER DOLLAR GOLF CLUB CLOSING MONDAYS FOR THE SUMMER
Beginning Monday, June 8, Silver Dollar Golf Club will be closed every Monday throughout the summer until further notice. The club will be utilizing these closures to complete a variety of course improvement projects aimed at enhancing playing conditions and continuing to elevate the overall golf experience. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing the improvements throughout the season.

After more than 40 years in the golf business, I've noticed that golfers often share certain characteristics. In my experience, golf tends to develop patience, emotional control, honesty, integrity, strategic thinking, and perseverance. Since players keep their own scores and are expected to follow the rules, personal accountability has always been one of the game's greatest qualities.
Over the years, I've encountered several types of golfers. Some are highly competitive and thrive on challenge, while others play mainly for the enjoyment, friendships, and social connections the game provides. I also enjoy seeing beginners embrace the game, despite the learning curve that comes with it.
Traditionally, the average golfer was often a retired or near-retirement male, but I've been encouraged to see the game grow among younger and more diverse players in recent years. Golf courses have always been places where friendships are built, business relationships are formed, and communities come together.

Our Summer Evening League lineup has officially started, and we’re excited to bring you 2 great weekly options to enjoy competitive golf, great courses, and time with fellow Paradise Golf members. Also, Paradise members can invite non-members to participate as well!

Wednesday Evenings — The Eagles
You can register for one league OR two leagues — whatever works best for your schedule. Please note: Registration closes at noon on the day of each league.
We are also exploring the addition of a Sunday afternoon Couples 9-Hole League for the summer. Stay tuned for more details as those are finalized.
